![]() ![]() What are your guys opinions on Suticase vs. ![]() My peers with selective memory rave about how they've never had any problems with Suitcase (even although I've had to fix their Macs in the past after they've become unusable with Suitcase related problems. Now if both would work on a Windows version of their respective font managers that is on par with the Mac version.not that I need win versions anymore but that is one sore spot for the Windows based designers out there. But increasingly I'm being pressurised to install Suitcase. I'm glad Extensis has some competition again. And the few times I've had a product related question they've responded within a day or so and were very kind and courteous. To stay competitive, Suitcase Fusion needs to improve speed across the board. Linotype seems to of built a great program in FEX. Suitcase is universally loathed, and FontBook (the built in Mac OSX font. So I can't compare how it performs compared to the new FEX. Which it was the only professional font manager that allowed sets, font activation and auto activation. The last time I used it was Suitcase for Windows on XP. I haven't used Suitcase in several years. But through the end of February they are offering it at 50% off which makes it around $40 which isn't bad, especially compared to Suitcase.
